Julia “Butterfly” Hill is awesome. She lived on two six-by-six foot platforms 20 stories up in a giant Redwood for 738 days, until Pacific Lumber agreed to preserve the section of the Redwoods. You know, because up until then, they were clear-cutting giant Redwoods that were hundreds of years old, devouring them like a giant fucking lawn mower, as if they’d grow back just as easily.

Anyways, look into Julia Hill if you’re interested. She’s awesome. Now I’m going to make another post about another fucking awesome lady.
